Professor Michele ViGNALI is a full professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Macedonio Melloni Hospital, Department of Biomedical Science for Health, University of Milan, Italy. After spending many years in the field of urogynecology he turned his area of interest shifting to benign gynecological disfunctions with special focus on endometriosis and uterine fibroid. Formed at the school of Clermont Ferrand (FRANCE) he specialized in endoscopic surgery, being the chair of the Gynecologic Endoscopy Unit at Macedonio Melloni Hospital, Milan, where he is actually head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit at Macedonio Melloni Hospital – University of Milan. Speaker/chairman at more than 200 national and international scientific events, he is author and co-author of more than 150 scientific publications including abstracts, chapters of books and articles on national and international journals. He performed as first operator more than 5000 surgical vaginal, abdominal and endoscopic procedures in benign gynecology

Chair:Mohamed Fares EG

Dr Faris was graduated from Cairo university in 1975. He was trained in the Teaching hospitals until he obtained his Master degree in 1983. Two years later he left to the UK where he practiced in several hospitals and was always focusing on endoscopy, endocrinology and ultrasonography. After obtaining his MRCOG he returned back to Egypt where he he established his private unit and got his first IVF baby on 1992. Teaching and training the younger colleagues was on the top of his priorities. He arranged more than 200 sonography/endoscopy training sessions and workshops starting from upper Egypt at Aswan and northwards until Portsaid. He presented more than 400 presentations allover Egypt all of which were educational including video films Dr Faris has introduced new protocols of IVF/ICSI that were not available for the population outside Cairo. The transport ICSI technique was commenced by him and he also established the first IVF that belongs to the Ministry of Public Health in Ismailia. These units have participated in training tens of clinicians and embryologists and has helped many low income families to get a child.

Chair:Stuart Lavery UK

Mr Stuart Lavery is the Divisional Clinical Director for Women’s Health at UCLH. He works as a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery with a special interest in Fertility Preservation. He is an honorary Associate Professor at UCL and also holds honorary academic positions with Imperial College London, ICRF and the University of Oxford. Previously he was Medical Director and HFEA Person Responsible of IVF Hammersmith for 15 years, and a Founder Director of the Fertility Partnership. He is currently a Founder Director of Aria Fertility in Marylebone. His research interests are fertility preservation and preimplantation genetic testing, and has published over 60 peer reviewed academic articles, and presented both nationally and internationally.

Dr Sara Clemenza currently works at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Careggi University Hospital in Florence. Her principal area of clinical practice and research relates to endometriosis, uterine fibroids, obstetric and gynecological ultrasound and high risk pregnancies. Sara does research in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, her main works concern endometriosis and maternal hemodynamics
